Happy Easter From Ave!

Hey Ya'll, Ave decided today was a painting day and painted an Easter Greeting for you! She used her hands and fingers to create all the eggs, chick, and bunnies. We hope you enjoy!
HAPPY EASTER FROM JAIMO AND HIS GIRLS!

Marching on By....

... a quick overview of our March activities!

Maunya had a great Easter egg hunt for all her grandbabies since we were all in town.
Ave was really great at searching and finding eggs this year. She filled her whole basket with very little help/direction.

"LOOK eggs!" she'd say...

Surprisingly the real hard boiled eggs were a favorite of all the kids! Which caused a couple epic battles to occur... HA HA!

We also got to enjoy a day with the cousins at the Museum of Idaho, here in Idaho Falls.

Trevor being a sweet deer hiding in the trees.

The whole crew in the hands on climbing area of the Children's Touch/Feel Exhibit.

All the kids with sweet poses...

We also got to go to Colorado to visit Shilowe & Co...
and of course we got to enjoy Chuck-E-Cheese! lol

Ave was a bit nervous about this rocking truck ride. I think Jaimo wanted a ride!

Ave especially enjoyed the horse ride, which she wasted numerous tokens on... over and over.

Ave thought the toddler rides were pretty exciting. And she really liked the "puppy one."

This Barney one was like seeing a celebrity for Ave. She REALLY likes him.

We also got to go swimming, which was Ave's only request for the vacation.

Ave and her cousins in front of the amazing swimming facility they have. I am so jealous we so need a place like this to get us through the long winters. It was a blast!

Ave and Momma after swimming

Ave and Nathan out on the town in Fort Collins. Ave idolizes her cousin Nathan and wants to be just like him. A few tricks she picked up from him are playing spider man and shooting spider webs. These two are two peas in a pod, they are sneaky and can find a candy stash like clockwork. They found a bag of M&M's and poured them into Ave's portable crib then climbed in and "swam" in their booty. They exclaimed as they threw the treats in the air, "we're rich," and "I am gonna eat 20!"

This picture is Jaimason's highlight of the trip. We went to a place called Snooze and they had amazing breakfasts.

Ave was our photographer for these next few pictures.

Here's Daddy!

Then Mommy! We had a great time in Colorado and can't wait to go back we did a ton of great activities and especially enjoyed the hospitality of my sister Shilowe and her family. We miss them already, thanks for a great trip!

I also wanted to share some of Ave's creative new outfit choices. She currently enjoys putting on 3 to 5 pairs of socks at a time and mixing and matching other clothing items. Her favorite pieces are swimming suits and tutus.

Ave is also way into being outside. No matter what time of day or night Ave thinks it's time to go outside and play. She is constantly begging to play outside. It is also her belief that if she puts on shades, boots, and a jacket then she is ready to go, even if she has just a diaper on for clothing.

Once she puts on her gear she likes to say, "Ok Mom, ready to rock n roll!"

Looking back at Febuary!

February gets us into spring fever. We can barely contain ourselves in the house and all we want to do is get outside and play. So, we come up with some interesting things to keep us entertained....

Ave loves to do crazy hair-do's and laugh at herself in the mirror.

She is also obsessed with snakes so she makes lots of "baby snakes" the tiny ones. "Mommy snakes" the fat stubby ones lol. And "daddy snakes" the long skinny ones.
The snow was melting away so Jaimo and Ave made their first and last snowman of the season. Bye bye snow!
Our February highlight though was taking Ave to see and feed the ducks on the greenbelt.
Ave gets really excited to see the ducks and cannot stop saying, "Ducks! LOOK guys Ducks! DUCK DUCK!"
I love the geese though they are always throwing their weight around to get the food we throw to the ducks and Ave shakes her little finger at them and yells "NO NO big duck!"
Jaimo likes the duck watching too. He gets out of the car and chases them around with Ave. I enjoy watching them and giggling from the warm car.

Ave is a huge animal lover of any kind and she is always wanting to pet whatever animal she sees. Her compassionate nature comes out when she tries to feed the ducks from her hand unsuccessfully and tries to coax them by saying, "It's alright, duck. Come eat. It's ok..." She continues to make me laugh daily with the things she says and her new antics. I love my passionate little two year old!
